Extra Credit Project
(OPTIONAL)
(WORTH 30 POINTS)
Directions:
Research information on
the different acts the Kings and Parliament passed against the colonies that
led to the Declaration of Independence.
1. Create a collage or mural on a poster board visualizing at
least 5 acts that were passed that affected the colonies.
a. Collage - A piece of art made by sticking various different
materials such as photographs and pieces of paper together on a poster board.
b. Mural – A painting or drawing executed directly on a wall. In this case, directly on a poster board.
2. On a sheet of paper, explain the five acts you chose and the effects they each had on the colonies. Information
must be typed or written in blue or black pen and must be at least one page in
length. (12 point font, Times-New Roman)
Remember, you must
include a bibliography for your project.
Students must use at least 2 sources (this does not include pictures or the
online textbook).

Late projects will not be accepted, and BOTH parts of the
project (visual and paper) must be turned in to receive any credit.
** Any project that is found to be plagiarized (directly
copied from a website, book, or another student) will automatically be given a
zero. Student will not be given the opportunity to recycle the grade.***
