NHD Update

Assignments 1, 2 & 3 on the NHD timeline will be due in either Mr. Schemer’s team time or Mr. Petrick’s team time (depending on your group).  Completion of these assignments on time will count as both a team time grade and a Civics grade.  You will have a total of 7 hours of class time in team time to complete these assignments, which allows everyone more than enough time to finish.  Most team times have already completed assignment 1 (5 extended responses to essential questions), and will be expected to have assignment 2 (five source cards & draft of annotated bibliography) completed by the time they get to the next NHD team time, where they will work on assignment 3 (50 note cards).  You must have each assignment signed by your NHD team time teacher on your timeline in order to receive credit.

These NHD team time rotations will be completed by January 25^th.  From that point, the rest of the assignments will be due in my classroom on the following dates.

Assignment #4 – Formal Outline – Due January 31^st (B-Day) & February 1^st (A-Day)

Assignment #5 – 1^st Draft of Paper with Title Page & 2^nd Draft of Annotated Bibliography – Due February 14^th (B-Day) & February 15^th (A-Day)

Assignment #6 – Final paper with Title Page & Final Annotated Bibliography (100 Points) & Timeline (with teacher signatures) for each completed assignment (100 points) – Due February 28^th (A-Day) & March 1^st (B-Day).
