Citizenship Project

CITIZENSHIP PROJECT REMINDERS

  1. The "epitaph" should be at least 1 page in length (Double spaced, 12 point font).  It should also include a bibliography of at least 2 reliable sources (no wikipedia).  Along with this, the guided question sheet should also be completed and ready to turn in.
  2. There has been some confusion as to what I am expecting concerning the "epitaph".  It should be    a 1 page paper (similar to an obituary), but it needs to focus on how your hero demonstrated good citizenship throughout their life.  DO NOT write about the accomplishments unrelated to citizenship.
  3. A few students volunteered to bring in some finger foods, drinks, and cups/plates for the "tea party".  I will bring in a few items myself, but don't forget if you signed up to bring something!
  4. Don't forget to dress up as your selected hero.  Remember, I am not grading you based on how well you dress up.  You do not need to go out and buy a costume.  I'm only looking to see that you remembered the project and put some type of effort into role-playing your character.
  5. Due to the in-school football game on Tuesday, period 8B's project due date has been postponed to Thursday, 10/10.
