Thanksgiving Break Update

• All students received a classwork assignment on the 5 principles of the Constitution on Monday, 11/25 (B-Day) & Tuesday, 11/26 (A-Day).  For those students that did not complete this assignment in class, it will be due on Tuesday, 12/3 (B-Day) & Wednesday, 12/4 (A-Day).
• All students with a Chapter 5, Les. 1 & 2 test score of less than 80% received a Guided Reading worksheet on Chapter 5, Lesson 1 and Chapter 5, Lesson 2 (Some only received one or the other depending on their test score).  These worksheets are to be used for recycling student's Chapter 5, Lessons 1 & 2 test scores.  Students need to re-read these lessons using their online book, and must answer all questions CLEARLY and CORRECTLY (Incomplete, unclear, and incorrect assignments will not receive a full recycled grade of 80%).  These Guided Reading worksheets will be due on Tuesday, 12/3 (B-Day) & Wednesday, 12/4 (A-Day).

• I am currently still in the process of grading Chapter 4 recycled worksheets.  The upcoming progress report will not reflect these recycled grades, but they will be on grade portal by the time progress reports are sent home after Thanksgiving break.
• All extra credit project points (25) were added into student's open-notes vocabulary quiz grades and are updated in grade portal.

• When students return to school on Tuesday, 12/3 (B-Day) & Wednesday, 12/4 (A-Day), we will finish learning Chapter 5, Lessons 3 & 4 and all students will receive a study guide.  There will then be a test on Chapter 5, Lessons 3 & 4 on Thursday, 12/5 (B-Day) & Friday, 12/6 (A-Day).
