Upcoming Week

I will be attending the college field trip this week, so I will not be back in class until next Monday, 2/3.

Due to this, I have listed all assignments and due dates below for students and parents to access while I am gone.

MONDAY, 1/27 (A-DAY)

• Bill to Law Graphic Organizer Due
• Students will receive directions for their study guide (which WILL be due next class (Wednesday, 1/29) as a classwork grade because students will have the ENTIRE period to work on it).
• Students will also receive a print-out of their extra credit opportunity assessing President Obama's State of the Union address. (this will be due on Friday, 1/31)

TUESDAY, 1/28 (B-DAY)

• Bill to Law Graphic Organizer Due

• Students will also receive a print-out of their extra credit opportunity assessing President Obama's State of the Union address (this will be due on Thursday, 1/30)

WEDNESDAY, 1/29 (A-DAY)

• Study guide due (questions from book AND the worksheet).
• Legislative Unit Test
• After the test, students will receive 2 separate worksheets to work on in class (Guided Reading on Federalism [Chapter 5, Lesson 4] and an article entitled "A Heartbeat Away" with corresponding questions.)  These 2 worksheets will be due on Friday, 1/31 (along with the extra credit opportunity assessing President Obama's State of the Union address).

THURSDAY, 1/30 (B-DAY)

• Study guide due (questions from book AND the worksheet).  Extra credit opportunity assessing President Obama's State of the Union address is also due.
• Legislative Unit Test
• After the test, students will receive 2 separate worksheets to work on in class (Guided Reading on Federalism [Chapter 5, Lesson 4] and an article entitled "A Heartbeat Away" with corresponding questions.)  These 2 worksheets will be due on Monday, 2/3. 

FRIDAY, 1/31 (A-DAY)

•  Guided Reading on Federalism [Chapter 5, Lesson 4] and an article entitled "A Heartbeat Away" with corresponding questions due.  Extra credit opportunity assessing President Obama's State of the Union address is also due.
• Students will watch "Mr. Smith goes to Washington", and will complete guided questions along with the movie to be turned in at the end of class.
• No homework.

MONDAY, 2/3 (B-DAY)

• Students will watch "Mr. Smith goes to Washington", and will complete guided questions along with the movie to be turned in at the end of class.
• No homework.
