A-Day Reminders for Wednesday

• Have your electoral map class work completed and turned in on Wednesday, 2/20. 
• If you were given your chapter 7 test back to recycle, it will also be due on Wednesday, 2/20.

Electoral Map directions - Using the 2008 electoral results in your online book (pg. 227), the poll-generated map before the 2012 election (link below), and the "swing state" article handed out in class, predict the outcome of the following swing states: Nevada, Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Iowa, Oregon, Virginia, Michigan, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Arizona, & North Carolina.  Don't forget to provide a reason for why you chose red or blue for each swing state (only the swing states).  Your support/reason should come from the 2008 electoral map in your book, the link of poll-generated map, or the "swing state" article.  Once every state is either red or blue, tally up the electoral votes and declare a winner! (Remember, the magic number is 270)
